[1][1]THE DERA GHAZI KHAN EXCLUDED AREA ELECTORAL LAWS REGULATION, 1950
(Punjab Regulation I of 1950)
[9 September 1950]
1.         Short title, extent and commencement.— (1) This Regulation may be called the Dera Ghazi Khan excluded Area Electoral Laws Regulation, 1950.[2][2]
            (2)       It shall extend to the Excluded Area[3][3] in the Punjab Province situated to the west of the Dera Ghazi Khan district.
            (3)       It shall come into force with immediate effect.
2.         Application of certain Rules.— All Rules[4][4] framed under the Government of India Act, 1935, in connection with elections to the Punjab Legislative Assembly shall apply to the Excluded Area in the Punjab Province situated to the west of the Dera Ghazi Khan district.








[1][1]This Regulation for the peace and good Government of the Excluded Area in the Punjab Province situated to the West of the Dera Ghazi Khan district having been made by the Governor of the Punjab and having received the assent of the Governor-General on the 23rd August, 1950, was first published for general information as having the force of law under sub-section (2) of section 92 of the Government of India Act, 1935 in the Punjab Gazette (Extraordinary) dated: September 9, 1950.
