POLICE RULES, 1934 (Amendment)
[Gazette of Sind, Extraordinary, Part IV‑A, 23rd October, 1986]

No. POL‑HD/2‑I34/84.=In exercise of the powers conferred by the Police Act, 1861, as applicable to Sind, the Government of Sind are pleased to make following amendment in the Police Rules, 1934 as appli­cable to Sind :‑

In rule 16.20, for sub‑rule (b) and the words "the authority shall, not­withstanding anything contained in these rules", the following shall be substituted :‑
"(b) is accused of or is reasonably suspected of subversive activities or associates with persons indulging in subversive activities or is reasonably suspected of indulging in subversive activities ;
(c) is accused of or is reasonably suspected of mixing up with anti­social elements or criminals ;
the authority shall, notwithstanding anything contained in these rules :‑"
