THE PUNJAB BONDED SPIRIT
WAREHOUSE RULES
11-B-1. These rules shall be
called the Punjab Bonded Spirit Warehouse Rules.
11-B-2. In these rules, unless there is anything repungnant in the
subject of context,
(i)
“the Act” means the Punjab Excise Act No.1 of 1914.
(ii)
“Bonded Warehouse” means a distillery enclosure as
defined in rule 42 of the Punjab Distillery Rules Chapter 9, Punjab Excise
Manual, Volume-II except that there shall be no manufacture of spirit therein.
11-B-3. The Punjab
Distillery Rules, 9.3 to 9.6, 9.10 to 9.24, 9.28 to 9.30, 9.32 to 9.34, 9.38 to
9.39, 9.42 to 9.53 to 9.66, 9.87 to 9.116 and 9.118 to 9.124, shall apply
mutatis mutan dis to the Bonded Spirit warehouse.
11-B-4. The following
registers as detailed in Chapter 6 of the Punjab Excise Manual Volume IV, shall
be maintained by the Officer-in-charge of the Bonded House:(a) General Register
in form D-4 except parts 2, 5,13,14,15 and 16.
(b)
Table Book Store vats in Form D.6.
(c)
List of person employed in the Bonded Warehouse in Form
D-7.
(d)
Inspector’s Diary in Form D-9.
(e)
Registers of receipt of bulk spirit into the store room
and the issue of bulk and bottled spirit from the store room in form D-13
except columns 2, 3, and 4.
(f)
Registers of receipt and disposal of spirit received in
bond from the Warehouse (Form D-13-A).
(g)
Register of bottling operations carried on in the
Bonded Warehouse (Form D-13-B).
(h)
Daily total of bottled spirit stored, issued, and in
stock in the Bonded Warehouse (Form D-14-A).
(i)
Register of issue of spirit on which duty has been paid
in advance(Form D-15.
(j)
Lock Ticket (Form D-17).
(k)
Vat Ticket (Form D-18).
(l)
Pass for the removal of spirit (Forms D-20 and 21-A).
