The Balochistan Prosecution Service (Constitution, Function and Powers) (Amendment) Bill, 2010 having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan on 30^th March, 2010 and assented to by the Governor, Balochistan on 7^th April,2010 is hereby published as an Act of the Provincial Assembly.

                

THE BALOCHISTAN PROSECUTION SERVICE (CONSITITUION, FUNCTION AND POWERS)

(AMENDMENT) ACT No. III OF 2010

                                                           

(First published after having received the assent of the Governor Balochistan in the Balochistan Gazette (Extra ordinary) dated 7^th April, 2010.)

AN

ACT

        to amend the Balochistan Prosecution Services (Constitution, Function and Powers) Act, 2003 (Balochistan Act No.VI of 2003) for the purposes hereinafter appearing.

               It is hereby enacted as follows:

1. Short title and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Balochistan Prosecution Services (Constitution, Function and Powers) (Amendment Act), 2010.

(2) It shall come into force at once.

2. Amendment to Section 6 (1) Act VI of 2003. In the Balochistan Prosecution Service (Constitution, Function and Powers) Act, 2003, hereinafter referred to as the said Act, in Sub-Section (1) of Section 6 for the words “through a competitive examination held by the Balochistan Public Service Commission”, the words “through a written examination and interview held by the Balochistan Public Service Commission” shall be substituted.
