NO.PAS/Legis-B-25/2009- The Agricultural Produce Markets (Amendment) Bill, 2009 having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Sindh on 21st December, 2009 and assented to by the Governor of Sindh on 17th  February, 2010 is hereby published as an Act of the Legislature of Sindh.

THE AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE MARKETS (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2009

                                                 SINDH ACT NO: IV OF 2010

(First published after having received the assent of the Governor of Sindh in the Gazette of Sindh (Extra-Ordinary)dated 4th March,2010.)

                                                                            AN ACT

to further amend the Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1939.

Preamble  WHEREAS  it is expedient to amend the Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1939, in the manner hereinafter appearing;

It is hereby enacted as follows:-

1. Short title and commencement.       (1)  This  Act  may  be  called  the  Agricultural  Produce  Markets (Amendment) Act, 2009.

(2)  It shall come into force atonce.

2. Omission of sections 3 and 4 of Act V of 1939

 In the Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1939, sections 3 and 4 including the provisos shall be omitted.
