NO.PAS/Legis-B-22/2013-The Gorakh Hills Development Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2013 having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Sindh on 4th November, 2013 and assented to by the Governor of Sindh on 19th November, 2014 is hereby published as an Act of the Legislature of Sindh.

                                                                                                                                           AN ACT

          to amend the Gorakh Hills Development Authority Act, 2008.

Preamble.                WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Gorakh Hills Development Authority Act, 2008, in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted as follows:-

1.Short title and commencement.   (1) This Act may be called the Gorakh Hills Development Authority (Amendment) Act, 2013.

(2)   It shall come into force at once.

2.Amendment of section 4 of Act No.V of 2008.           In the Gorakh Hills Development Authority Act, 2008, in section 4, for sub- section (1), the following shall be substituted:-

“(1) The Authority shall consist of –

(a) MNA of the area                                                   Chairman

(b) Minister for Culture and Tourism                         Vice Chairman

(c) Minister for Local Government                            Member

(d) MPA of the area to be nominated by the Chief

Minister                                    Member

(e) Additional Chief Secretary (Dev:), Planning and Development Department

                                                                                                  Member

(f) Secretary to Government of Sindh, Tourism

Department                               Member

(g) Director General, Gorakh Hills Development

Authority                         Member/ Secretary

(h)     Managing     Director,     Sindh     Tourism

Development Corporation                   Member

(i) Deputy Commissioner, Dadu                Member

(j)   Director   Surveys,   Settlement   and   Land

Records Sindh, Hyderabad                  Member
