BALOCHISTAN MAINTENANCE OF PUBLIC ORDER (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2011

Further to amend the Balochistan Maintenance of Public Order Ordinance,1960(XXXI of 1960).

Preamble                               Whereas, it is expedient further to amend the Balochistan Maintenance of Public Order Ordinance, 1960 (XXXI of 1960) in the manner hereinafter appearing;

                                                            It is hereby enacted as follows:

Short title,     1.                     (1)  This Act may be called the Balochistan Maintenance of Public Order (Amendment) Act, 2011

extent and                     

Commencement

                                                (2)    It extends to the whole of Province of Balochistan except the tribal areas.

        

                        (3)    It shall come into force at once.

Amendment of   2.                In the Balochistan Maintenance of Public Order Ordinance, 1960 (Ordinance No. XXXI of 1960), in sections 3, 5, 8 and 26 for the words “District Administrative Officer in ‘B’                                          Area and District Police Officer in ‘A’ Area “wherever occurs the words “Deputy Commissioner “shall be substituted.
