ACT

to amend the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Local Government Act, 2013.

 WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Local Government Act, 2013 (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Act No. XXVIII of 2013), for the purposes hereinafter appearing;

          It is hereby enacted as follows:

1.               Short title and commencement.---(1)  This Act may be called the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Local Government (Amendment) Act, 2014.

          (2)      It shall come into force at once.

2.               Amendment of the SECOND SCHEDULE to the Khyber

Pakhtunkhwa Act No. XXVIII of 2013.---In the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Local

Government Act, 2013 (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Act No. XXVIII of 2013), in

SECOND SCHEDULE,-

(a)      in Part-A,-

“Dir Upper		32		10		2		2	2	48”;  and
						in the columns against the District Torghar for existing
columns, namely:						entries, the following shall be substituted, in respective
Torghar		16		5		1		1	1	24

(i)           in the columns against the District Dir Upper, for the existing entries, the following shall be substituted, in respective columns, namely:

                        (ii)

                         

                         

(b)      in Part-B,-

(i)              for the existing entries occurring against the Tehsil “Nowshera”, the following shall be substituted, namely:

(ii)            after the existing entries occurring against the Tehsil “Nowshera”, as so amended, the following new entries shall be inserted, in respective columns, namely:

(iii)								in the columns against the Tehsil Dir Upper, for
								the existing entries, the following shall be
								substituted, in respective columns, namely:
“Dir Upper		13		4			1			1		1			20”;  and
“(iv)					in the columns against the Tehsil Hassanzai, for the existing entries, the following shall be substituted, in respective columns, namely:
