THE SOCIETIES REGISTRATION (BALOCHISTAN AMENDMENT)   ACT  NO.XV of 2010.

AN

ACT

further to amend the Societies Registration Act, 1860 (Act No. XXI of l860), in its application to the Province of Balochistan.

Preamble	WHEREAS   it is expedient further to amend the Societies Registration Act, 1860 (Act No. XXI of 1860) to the extent of the province of Balochistan, in the manner hereinafter appearing. It is hereby enacted as follows: 1.   (1) This Act may be called the Societies Registration     (Balochistan Amendment) Act, 2010.       (2)   It shall come into force at once and shall be deemed to have     taken effect from the 29th October 2009.. 2.         In the Societies Registration Act, 1860 (Act No. XXI of l860) hereinafter referred to as the said Act, for section 21 the following shall be substituted namely:             “21. Registration of Deeni Madaris”  (1) All Deeni Madaris by whatsoever name called shall not operate without getting themselves registered as under, namely:             (i)         the Deeni Madaris existing before the commencement of the Societies Registration (Balochistan Amendment) Ordinance, 2007 if not already registered shall get themselves registered, under this Act, and             (ii)        the Deeni Madaris which are established after the commencement of the Societies Registration                         (Balochistan Amendment) Ordinance, 2007 (XIX of 2007), shall get themselves registered within one year of their establishment.                        Explanation     One Deeni Madarassah having more than one campus shall need only one registration, however the details and the places at which they function, shall have to be formed as part of the registration. (2)   Every Deeni Madarassah shall submit annual report of  its  educational activities to the Registrar of Societies at the end of each fiscal year. (3) Every Deeni Madarassah shall cause to carry out audit of its accounts by an authorized Auditor and submit a copy of its audit report to the Registrar along-with its annual report. (4) No Deeni Madarassah shall teach or publish any literature which promotes militancy or spreads sectarianism or religious hatred; Provided that nothing contained herein shall bar the comparative study of various religions or school of thought or study of any other subject covered by the Holy Quran, Sunnah or Islamic jurisprudence.                      Explanation:-  In this section “Deeni Madarassah” means a religious institution primarily for religious education and includes Jamia, Dar-Ul-Uloom School, College or University or called by any other name, set up for purposes of primarily imparting religious education and providing boarding and lodging facilities. The Societies Registration (Balochistan Amendment) Ordinance, 2007 (XIX of 2007), is hereby repealed.
