PAS/LEGIS-B-2/2006-.       The Sindh Speaker’s and Deputy Speaker’s (Salaries, Allowances and Privileges) Bill, 2006 having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Sindh on 4th October,   2007 and assented to by the Governor of Sindh on 22nd  October, 2007 is hereby published as an Act of the Legislature of Sindh.

THE SINDH SPEAKER AND DEPUTY SPEAKER (SALARIES, ALLOWANCES AND PRIVILEGES) ACT, 2007.

                                                   SINDH ACT NO. III 0F 2007

(First published after having received the assent of the Governor of Sindh in the Gazette of Sindh

                                                        (Extra-Ordinary)

                                                     dated 24th October, 2007).

AN ACT

to  amend  the  Sindh  Speaker’s  and  Deputy  Speaker’s  (Salaries,  Allowances  and

Privileges) Act, 1975.

 Preamble

WHEREAS  it  is  expedient  to  amend  the  Sindh  Speaker’s  and  Deputy  Speaker’s

(Salaries, Allowances and Privileges) Act, 1975, in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted as follows:-

1.Short title and commencement(1)     This Act may be called the Sindh Speaker’s and Deputy Speaker’s (Salaries, Allowances and Privileges) Act, 2006.

(2)     It shall come into force at once.

 2.  Amendment of Section 7 of Sindh Act No. VII of 1975.         In the Sindh Speaker’s and Deputy Speaker’s (Salaries, Allowances and Privileges) Act, 1975, for Section 7, the following shall be substituted:-

“7.(1) The Speaker shall be entitled to the use of official cars maintained at Government expense.

(2) The Deputy Speaker shall be entitled to the use of official car maintained at

Government expense.

3.  Repeal.        The  Sindh  Speaker’s  and  Deputy  Speaker’s  (Salaries,  Allowances  and  Privileges) Ordinance, 2006 is hereby repealed.
