WEST PAKISTAN REGULATION AND CONTROL OF LOUDSPEAKERS AND SOUND AMPLIFIERS (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2011

ACT NO. IV OF 2011

Further amend the West Pakistan Regulation and Control of Loudspeakers and Sound Amplifiers Ordinance, 1965 in its application to the Islamabad Capital Territory

Whereas it is expedient further to amend the West Pakistan Regulation and Control of Loudspeakers and Sound Amplifiers Ordinance, 1965 (W.P. Ord. II of 1965) for the purposes hereinafter appearing;

It is hereby enacted as follows:^___

1.         Short title and commencement.^____(1) This Act may be called the West Pakistan Regulation and Control of Loudspeakers and Sound Amplifiers (Amendment) Act, 2011.

(2)       It shall apply to the Islamabad Capital Territory.

(3)       It shall come into force at once.

2.         Amendment of Section 3, W.P Ordinance II of 1965.- In the West Pakistan Regulation and Control of Loudspeakers and Sound Amplifiers Ordinance, 1965 (W.P. Ord.II of 1965), in section 3,^____

(a)       for the words “one month” the words “one year” shall be substituted; and

(b)       for the words “two hundred” the words “upto fifty thousands” shall be substituted.
