12th November, 2010 and assented to by the Governor of Sindh on 20th December, 2010 is hereby published as an Act of the Legislature of Sindh.

THE SINDH GOVERNMENT SERVANTS BENEVOLENT FUND (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2010.

SINDH ACT NO. XXVI OF 2011

AN ACT

to amend the Sind Government Servants Benevolent Fund Ordinance,1960.

Preamble. WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Sind Government Servants Benevolent Fund Ordinance,1960, in the manner hereinafter appearing;

It is hereby enacted as follows:-

1. Short title, and commencement.     (1)  This  Act  may  be  called  the  Sindh  Government  Servants

Benevolent Fund (Amendment) Act, 2010.

(2)   It shall come into force at once.

2. Amendment in section 2 of West Pakistan Ordinance No.XIV of 1960.        In the Sind Government Servants Benevolent Fund Ordinance,1960, in section 2, in clause (a), for sub-clause (ii), the following shall be substituted :-

“(ii) the male children including legally adopted and step male children below twenty one years, parents, minor brothers, and unmarried divorced or widowed daughters including legally adopted and step daughters and sisters, wholly dependent upon him or her;”.
