THE SINDH ESSENTIAL COMMODITIES PRICE CONTROL AND PREVENTION OF PROFITEERING AND HOARDING (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2008

SINDH ACT NO: IV OF 2008

(First published after having received the assent of the Governor of Sindh in the

Gazette of Sindh (Extra-Ordinary) dated 11th September, 2008.)

AN ACT

to further amend the Sindh Essential Commodities Price

Control and Prevention of Profiteering and Hoarding Act, 2005.

WHEREAS it is expedient to further amend the Sindh Essential Commodities Price Control and Prevention of Profiteering and Hoarding Act, 2005, in the manner hereinafter appearing;

Preamble.

it is hereby enacted as follows:-

1.   (1)       This   Act   may   be   called   the   Sindh   Essential Commodities Price Control and Prevention of Profiteering and Hoarding (Amendment) Act, 2008.

Short title and commencement.

(2)       It shall come into force at once.

2.            In the Sindh Essential Commodities Price Control and Prevention of Profiteering and Hoarding Act, 2005, in section 8, for the words “three months”, the words “six    months”  and  for  the  words  “ten  thousand rupees”, the words “thirty thousand rupees” shall be substituted.

Amendment of section 8 of Sindh Act No.IX of 2006.
